ACRYLIC NAIL APPLICATION
Natural nails are cleaned up (including cuticles) then buffed/filed till shine is gone from natural nails. Nails are fitted with fake nails to make the perfect fit/size to natural nails. Fake nails are glued to the tip of your natural nail for length, liquid and powdered Acrylic are now used to make the fake nail. The mixture starts to harden in 20-30 seconds after application and continues to cure to final hardness typically within 15 minutes. Powder and liquid Acrylics can be removed by using a variety of solvents (usually acetone is used). Usually it takes 20-30 minutes to remove the nail while using a nail file to help take off each layer of the artifical nail. After the Acrylic mixture is applied to nails and hardened, nails are filed and shaped to clients preference. Finish off nails with a top "UV TOP COAT" hardens under ultraviolet light, protects nails from yellowing (yellowing is caused from smoking and tanning) and adds strength to nails (gel over lay).
Acrylic nails with gel over lay, with choice of colored tip or natural tip with polish. Acrylic nails help conceal or fix broken, damaged, short or bad nails. It also helps prevent people from biting their nails, breakage of nails and protect splits. They are used when people are not able to grow the length of natural nails that they desire.
Also have a variety of soak off UV gels which can be quickly and easily removed using acetone, pick the perfect nail shape for your nails (Almond/oval, Pointed, Square, Rounded and Squoval).
